What is essential is within

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

— Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of The Little Prince

There is so much emphasis put on the outside of life … our bodies, careers, relationships, possessions, holidays, trophies, achieving and getting …

And all well and good that is.

But time and time again it seems the wise of every age re-discover it’s the inner stuff that creates a Life.

What is essential cannot be seen.

It also cannot be bought – in fact it cannot be gained by any means.

We already have it. We already are it. We already have all the inner stuff we need to live the Good life, according to our purpose, to bring meaning and satisfaction to every moment, and to make the world a better place.

We only need to align with it: to be still. To be calm, content and connect, to be centred. To realise it. It’s all right here.

There are so many distractions though. We have addictions and confusions and we postpone, we are unaware of how precious, how essential what is within us is to our lives, and to everyone around us …

Without the inner there is no outer life. Stop and make time for it.

And so this is the practice: the journey within, the return and the remembering.

Here you are, glorious and complete.

Remember, remember, remember.

Go well,

Arjuna

PS.

I’m doing a few Facebook lives, you might be interested in having a wee look.

It’s my chance to answer any questions you may have about anything. If you can’t make it live, email me and ask … I’ll get you an answer some how!

There’s also a topic which I chat about while everyone arrives too.

The next one is Thursday 18th at 7.30pm

The last one was great:

“Passion is life, want vs need” ... and you’ll find that in the above link too.

See you there and take care!
