What do I want from my life? Friday homework!

"Am I living the life I want to live?"

– Quite often I used to wonder this. And I was never sure that I actually was.

Life could be amazing, life could be confusing and bewildering.

In the middle of it all, I had no real sense of purpose or direction, I wasn't certain that I was living the life I was born to live.

Until now.

Something Manyu said on the webinar we did together last Sunday made me remember this.

That concern, that frustration, that I wasn't actually doing what I was supposed to do here in this life, here on Earth ... that is no longer with me.

Which is wonderful. Incredible even. Because sometimes it used to drive me up the wall.

I am living, I can say with absolute truth, the life I was born to live.

How did that happen?

How did I find that sense of purpose and mission?

How did I get so certain? (And I really hope I don't sound arrogant, because that is the last thing I mean to be)

To tell you the truth, I don't think I found purpose ... I think purpose found me.

But I did do one, very important thing.

I made one very important decision which enabled me to fall into something that gave me a ton of peace of mind, clarity and direction.

That was prioritise - in each and every moment that I remembered - the sense of presence and Now that reveals itself to you when you tune into it.

It was a definite choice to make that sense of stillness and inner connection the most important part of each and every single day.

From that one choice, that one priority ... from that foundation, a host of benefits came. A host.

From doing one single thing, many different things came.

My Bright Path Ishayas’ Ascension teacher once said something, something super powerful:
______

"Your ability to live life in endless peace and joy is real, absolutely legitimate. And it is a peace and joy that you can’t understand. It is way beyond your present concept of peace and joy. It is not a pipe dream. It is real and it is your birthright."
______

He's talking just about peace.

There is more, much more that you can experience.

So:

What is the most important thing to you?

And – most importantly, how do you remember to make every single day about that?

How do you remind yourself of what is important?

Because if you don’t, you get stressed, overwhelmed, think far too much about so many things that you have absolutely no control over …

You don’t live the life you could live. You don’t experience the happiness and calm and clarity that you might.

That is a shame.

The fact is, you can. You can live supremely well, full of calm, contentment and clarity and do all the things you want and need to do. Better than before.

The only thing is needs is to you to prioritise the Presence of Now each moment in each and every day.

Not so hard.

BUT the fact that so many humans do not prioritise what is important to them means you have to do something a little out of the ordinary.

Let me repeat that though:

Out of the ordinary, yes, difficult, no.

Most of us put off what is truly important to us until a different moment. Right now is never enough. We make other things more important than exploring what is truly important to us.

Maybe it’s a to-do list, maybe it’s to try and win an argument, maybe it’s to try and sort out the past or future in your head.

But:

If you make this moment the only time when you can actually experience your desire, you begin to discover an endless now of peace. But it is up to you to make that priority. Only now. Remember, only now can you choose for your greatest desire.

Nothing that you do on the outside will give you the infinite experience of peace within.

If not now, when? Later?

Don’t leave it to later. Later never happens.

The only approach that works is right here, right now.

Okay?

Give it shot – what have you got to lose?

That is your homework for this week. For seven days, seven days only. If you don't like what you get, you can go back to normal.

But do give it a shot, otherwise how will you ever know?

Go well,
Arjuna
